In the lobby, you're being greeted by your hosts Ursula and Erick, who live on the ground floor. From here open, wide, oak wooden stairs get you to the first floor, where our guests will reside.
Straight ahead, you'll see the kitchen, where the chef gets to work in the morning, and the breakfast room, where you will enjoy a freshly prepared morning meal.

THE GUEST ROOMS

Bed&Breakfast Ardane offers two separate guest rooms.
The double bed room "Scandia" features a separable king size box spring bed (length 2m10) which allows twin bed placement. Table and cabinet are made of deal. The roller blinds allow you to completely darken the room, if so desired.

"Alpina" is also a spacious double room. It's situated on the eastern side of the house, where our guests are free to go out and have a look over the horse meadow from the balcony, which almost looks bavarian. Here, table and cabinet are beechen and a similar, also brand new, quality box spring bed has been installed.

For your convenience, we have bath robes available in your rooms for the duration of your stay. And those who need to do some work or like to surf around on the Internet, are free to connect their notebooks to our WLAN without additional charge.

If required, we will be happy to make additional sleeping facilities available on the same floor, for instance in an adjacent children's room. This way, on several occasions, we have been able to offer snoring couples an effective and disturbance-free solution.

BATH ROOM

You will probably not easily find a more spacious bath room in a local Bed & Breakfast. The shower (with very low instep) and the toilet seat (10cm higher than normal) are very suitable for elderly guests as well. On those chilly mornings, the floor heating works wonders immediately.

This bath room, with its cherrywood furniture and terra floor tiles, is also situated on the eastern side of the house, adjacent to the "Alpina" room.
If both rooms are booked, guests will share the bath room. With only one room occupied, you will have this bath room all to yourself.

GUESTS LIVING ROOM

In case of extended drizzles at night, you may not want to go out. Well, why don't you have a seat in the guests' living room and enjoy that novel you were planning to read for a while (or pick one from our collection). If you rather play a game of chess (or some other game), or watch TV, you're welcome to do so. A stereo set is available, too, so don't hesitate to bring your music disks.

But please: smoking is permitted on the garden terrace only. Indoors, for the convenience of all our guests, smoking is not permitted.

BREAKFAST

It's for a good reason, that "Ardane" is known as a "Bed and Breakfast" and not just as a "Rooms for rent" facility. The breakfast, a freshly prepared morning meal with different house specialties on a daily basis, constitute one of your day's highlights. Just have yourself treated, for instance with muffins, pancakes or french toast pans.

"What? No buffet? I thought a buffet is quite common?"

No, there's no buffet. Please, have a seat and you will be served in a few minutes.

RATES

Single room with breakfast per night: € 38,--

Double room with breakfast per night: € 54,--

Please, be advised of the following, as well:

If you book both rooms at the same time, the rate for the second room is € 30,-- (occupied by one person) or € 44,-- (occupied by two)
If you stay three or more nights, there's a discount of 10% on the room rates
Cash payments, please. Sorry, no credit cards or checks accepted
The local bike shop (distance: 700m) has fine rental bikes available. They are closed on Saturday afternoon and all Sunday, but on those days, we'll be happy to assist you by picking the bikes up and/or bringing them back one day earlier (or later, respectively).

Special rate "All Yours":
This special rate allows you to make reservations for the whole B&B, for instance if you don't want to share the bath room, the living room and the breakfast table with others. Book one room, add € 18,-- per night and the other room will stay unoccupied for the duration of your stay. You're guaranteed to have all facilities to yourself.
